Testing a new program, survey, or arranging a more substantial research collaboration with RAQ

Steps in the process (click here for collaboration flowchart)

  1. Fill out the Preliminary Research Proposal form.
  2. Submit form to [email protected], our RAWG Secretary. 
  3. Wait for the Research Advisory Working Group (RAWG) to review your submission.
  4. We will review each recruitment and research request and consider how it fits with the RAQ’s strategic plan, its potential impact on our staff and clients, and its research significance. 
  5. All applicants will be notified via email of the RAWG decision and next steps – this could be (a) declined, (b) acceptance of preliminary research proposal subject to other conditions or approvals, which must be met and then resubmitted to RAWG,  or (c) an acceptance of preliminary research proposal and invite to submit a Full Research Proposal.
  6. You will be required to tender in any amendment requests if there are changes to your research plan.
  7. Submit annual progress reports.
  8. Submit a final completion report upon completing the project.
