Support for children who have/are experiencing separation of parents, conflict and changes in their family situation. The group topics explore the common challenges for children from separated families by looking at transitioning between homes, adjusting to different house rules and feeling caught in the middle of parental conflict, and learning resilience and coping strategies.
Audience
A course for 6-9 year old children experiencing parental separation.
Pre-requisites
Parents are to attend (individually) an intake appointment and complete paperwork.
