This venue is co-located with the RAQ Toowoomba venue at 477 Ruthven St, Toowoomba.

The Domestic & Family Violence Prevention Service provides crisis support, counselling, court support, and assistance with DV Protection Orders. The service offers training in domestic violence to community groups, government agencies (including police officers) and schools.

The area covered by the service includes Toowoomba, Warwick, Goondiwindi, Oakey, Pittsworth, Stanthorpe, Dalby, Chinchilla, Kingaroy, Nanango, Murgon and Cherbourg.

Access and Parking Directions

The Branch is located at 477 Ruthven Stree, directly above Kathmandu and directly across from Cotton On.  Use the door just past the Kodak shop but before the Kathmandu entrance.    

Leaving from the town centre (intersection between Margaret and Ruthven Streets) walk south toward the K Mart end of town.

There is wheelchair access to the building via the lift.  There are no disabled toilet facilities in the building however, there are facilities in the public toilet in the city square near the library. 

2 hour free, on street parking is available but is difficult to get.  Longer term parking ($1.70 per hour) is available on Annard Street with access available through dedicated walkways between this parking and Ruthven Street.

Parking can be a problem so please allow enough time before appointments to find a space.
