Relationships Australia Partners with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Communities of QLD

Officiated by Graham Perrett MP - Federal Member for Moreton, Relationships Australia today officially launched their Reconciliation Action plan in partnership with influential Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander leaders.

“This is a significant occasion for RAQ and represents the culmination of some five years of community engagement, consultation and building our relationships with members of the Queensland Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Community,” said Relationships Australia - QLD CEO, Shane Klintworth
“The RAQ Reconciliation Action Plan Launch represents our official first step in the journey of walking and working together, sharing our knowledge and resources and learning from one another.”

“We have entered into a time that will allow us to create a new story in how we do business with the rich and diverse Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultures of Queensland. Together we can determine the way RAQ supports members of our community to strengthen heal and grow as individuals and families through our diverse services and programs. This is an exciting time for our organisation and we like to think it will help shape our combined futures in this country.”
