We are currently seeking applications for the part-time role (30 hours per week) of Coordinator – Mental Health and Wellbeing Hub located at our Logan venue. This role is being offered on a temporary contract basis until 31 December 2019.
The purpose of this role is to establish and support a regional mental health and wellbeing hub for Logan City and Southern Moreton Bay Islands to build and embed awareness, knowledge and capacity for improved mental health and wellbeing in key groups and the wider community, through:
- Facilitating communication and information dissemination
- Coordinating planning, implementation and review of relevant mental health and wellbeing activity including mental health and wellbeing information, training and skill building activities.
- Developing a network and community of practice for interested community service providers and stakeholders.

Work days/hours will be negotiated with the successful applicant, however please note that the position holder will be required to work an evening shift (12pm to 8pm) up to once a week, with some flexibility needed in order to meet business requirements.
To be successful in this position, you will possess relevant tertiary qualifications in the social or behavioural sciences paired with demonstrated experience in oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, including, but not limited to, facilitation, negotiation, collaboration and conflict resolution. In addition, you will have experience in community development networking and engaging stakeholders, and project management.
The salary being offered is circa $70,342 to $80,972 per annum (pro rata for part-time), to be negotiated depending upon qualifications and experience, plus superannuation and generous salary packaging options where eligible which will significantly increase the value of take-home pay.
