Relationships Australia is the nation’s leader in relationship support services.

Annual Report 2009 Highlights:

  • We provided services to more then 140,000 clients nationally. Of those clients, 9.5% identified themselves as being from a culturally and linguistically diverse background and 4.4% identified themselves as being from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds.
  • Our consolidated revenue reached $110 million nationally for 2009.
  • In Queensland, we opened new centres on Thursday Island, Ipswich and Gladstone.
  • We took the first step to online service delivery with the success of pilot program for Online Family Dispute Resolution.
  • The Cultural Fitness Package was developed by Relationships Australia's Indigenous Network, displaying commitment to the ongoing process of reconciliation and position in relation to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander issues.
  • Increase in outreach services and flexible programs tailored specifically for social need.
  • Continued focus within Relationships Australia to meet the challenges and changes brought about by Family Law reform.
